Long Term Visa Application

If you are coming to Kudjip, Nazarene Station for an extended stay you must use the “Application Permit Application”

Step 1

Nazarene General Church approval received from Kansas City.

Step 2

Fill out the form listed below for Melanesia Field assistance in getting the work permits from Papua New Guinea Government in Port Moresby. Send form with monies to address listed on the sheet. Please send confirmation of the form sent to the General Church to Michael Chapman- mike@chapmanconnection.com and Scot Riggins- sriggins@reachone.com

Fill this out and email with a pdf copy of your passport to Michael Chapman, Work & Witness Coordinator, mike@chapmanconnection.com

Note: This process can take up to 6 weeks!

After your application is approved in Port Moresby immigration will send it to the PNG embassy in Washington D.C. You will need to call and verify its arrival before sending you packet. Please find contact information at the following website,

Step 4

While waiting for your paper work to be approved at the immigration in Port Morseby fill out the paper work with your physician with the following forms:

Radiological Report: http://www.pngcanberra.org/pdf/radiology.pdf

Letter of good standing: You need to go to the State Troopers or local police department and get a letter of good standing. (Back ground check) this proves you are person of good standing. This needs to be included in your packet.

Step 5

After verification of your paper work in D.C. send step 4 with your medical papers and letter of good standing to the PNG embassy in Washington D.C. in an overnight delivery by U.S. Postal Service. Important: Pay for another overnight postage paid envelope for your passport with visa returned in a hopeful speedy return.

Then you need to call the next day after sending packet for verification of arrival of your information. Also ask approximate time for approval.
